I try to live my life with kindness, grace and gratitude. I enjoy nature walks, taking pictures of nature and observing wildlife.
This saying touched me in many ways. Recently some of my friends came up with another saying when making decisions on life. "If not now, when?" Life is short...I am trying to have as many adventures and fun as I can. My husband along with our Australian Shepard, Luna travel with me. Yes, Luna has been to all the places listed below that allow dogs.
Spring is my favorite season.
I like to grow flowers, vegetables, fruits, flowering bushes, and any kind of tree.
I like eating seafood, fresh vegetables, and potato chips.
The sound of birds singing makes me feel like life is okay.
I am fascinated by all animals and will sit for long periods of time in order to watch them.
In 2022 I traveled to 22+ states including driving to Alaska, 3 Canadian provinces and the Yukon Territory.
In 2023 I visited 24+ states from the Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific.
I rang in the new year 2024 on the beach in the Florida Keys. From Jan-May I have traveled around Florida and took adventures on our way west to California and back east. I visited many national parks including: Grand Canyon, White Sands, Petrified Forest, Everglades, and Joshua Tree. Other fun places were: Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Lake Meade, Disney World, many other parks to see wildlife or learn about the history of our country. On the way back across the country I stayed in Hot Springs for the eclipse. Check below for some pictures.
The eclipse from start to finish took about 2 hours. Only 4 minutes were in total darkness.
