ANYONE IS HERE
ANYONE IS HERE is a series of paintings of a character called Anyone Anyonesson made by the Finnish artist Heini Lehväslaiho. There is also an illustrated book-to-be in 2024.
ANYONE'S STORY
The little creature called Anyone was born in 2019 in my painting called Little Things. She is ageless and lives at the very center of all the people. She is a mixture of hamster-monkey-dog and she wonders about things, lives very much in the present but also dreams of flying as she had wings at birth, but lost them.

I am writing a book called Anyone Is Here which portrays the paintings and drawings and tells short stories of Anyone's thoughts:
"In everything you see there is some amount of light."

LITTLE THINGS / PIENIÄ ASIOITA

I needed a large painting of a face for my exhibition and started on it. A little creature appeared from somewhere on the shoulder.
But right away the face area went all wrong. I decided to cover it.
Then the sun started to play on the surface of the drawing creating a big beautiful wing. I was sorry to see it go as the earth turned.
Because art never overcomes nature, I had to leave it alone for a while. Then I picked up my courage and drew some wings on the little creature like the light had done.
I had no more ideas. All the other work was just waiting to be hung in the exhibition. Then I climbed up to my work space and finished the picture with little things floating around the white covered face.
At that moment a thought came to my head that it reminded me of my friend Outi who had just turned 82. I realized I had carried her in my thoughts all through the process.
Little things is dedicated to my friend Outi who was living in her own world of Alzheimer’s for too many years.
