  • A Year in Time: TIME Earth Award (2023)

    • Honoring individuals influencing the future of the planet through their work on climate justice, awareness, and activism.

  • Outsider of the Year (2023)

    • In 2023, records fell, kids took government leaders to task, and activists fought bravely for the planet.

    • These individuals are the Outsiders of the Year, chosen for their bravery, tenacity, and strength.

  • Coca Cola Scholar (2021)

    • The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

    • It also offers leadership coaching, which I used to hone my skills in empathy and conflict resolution.

    • I was honored to be selected as a member of the Coca-Cola Scholars class of 2021, one of 100 selected from 100,000+ applicants.

  • Burger King Scholar (2021)

    • Created in memory of Burger King Co-Founder James โ€œJimโ€ W. McLamore, the Burger Kingโ„  Scholars program provides scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $60,000 to high school students.

    • Recipients are selected through an application process that takes into consideration their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities, and community service.

  • Rieschel Family Scholar (2021)

    • The $5,000 Rieschel Family Scholarship is awarded each spring to one local high school senior a year.

    • Specific interest in STEM fields โ€“ science, technology, engineering, and math.

  • Youth Ambassador to the US State Department (2020)

  • Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heros Awardee (2018)

    • The Youth Ambassadors Program brings together high school students and adult mentors from countries across the Americas

    • Goal to promote mutual understanding, increase leadership skills, and prepare youth to make a difference in their communities.

  • Forward Montana's 25 Under 25 (2017)

    • The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes celebrates inspiring, public-spirited young people from diverse backgrounds all across North America.

  • Eco-Hero Award (2017)

    • Every year since 2003, Action For Nature (AFN), a U.S.-based non-profit, has sought to recognize and reward young people who are taking action to solve the worldโ€™s tough environmental problems.

    • We are proud to honor the work of young people between the ages of 8 and 16 all over the globe who have done creative environmental projects with a cash prize, certificate of achievement, and public recognition.

  • I love ice cream, particularly Ben and Jerry's The Tonight Dough

  • I've biked across nine countries

  • I grew up raising baby lambs (we had to feed them every 4 hours!)

๐Ÿ“ˆ Favorite project:

I'm really proud of my final project for data science. I used R to showcase a number of trends, including how glaciers have been receding and sea levels have been rising.
