DEADWEIGHT: A new comics anthology

I am interested in comics that unapologetically explore the often taboo topic of eating disorders. Having struggled with EDs my entire life, I've found that writing and reading about it helped me deal with the pain. Deadweight aims to bring together different perspectives and experiences that are all united by a common sickness.

Comics can be any genre but must stick to the theme. Themes other than food or EDs are certainly allowed, but ideally do not overshadow the main theme. This is not a children's anthology; comics can have explicit material but it should not be gratuitous.

Comics can be between 1 and 10 pages. They must be B&W, 5.5 x 8.5'' and submitted as a PDF through the official submission form. Email submissions will not be accepted. If you have circumstances that make it difficult to meet any of these requirements, please contact me and we can work out a solution.
