227g (1¾ c) flour
113g (½ c) water
10g (2 tsp) salt
½ tsp baking powder
5g (1¼ tsp) yeast (optional, not authentic to the original)
Mix ingredients in a medium bowl until combined
Knead by hand in the bowl until the dough forms into a smooth ball
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 8 hours
Divide dough into balls about 2-3"
Flatten into disks
Fry disks in 350°F oil. Drain on paper towels
