Directing: The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

After Charlene and I acted in our school’s theatre club, we were invited to become Co-Presidents of Under the Lights. In spring 2024, we directed a production that poked fun at beloved fairytales, featuring over 20 actors from across the school.

What started as a hope for a few freshmen turned into a fantastic mix of performers—finance majors, football players, a cappella champions, and screenwriters—all transforming into iconic fairytale characters. I loved promoting, casting, directing, and seeing these talented individuals bring the play to life.

This experience is one of my happiest college memories. I hope you enjoy watching the play as much as I enjoyed directing it!
