Summary

Co-founded a profitable company through the Junior Achievement Company Program. Member of the supply chain team and led design efforts within it. Built prototypes, proposed design elements, and sourced materials. Considered physical, mechanical, and user-based needs to make the final product not only effective, but lightweight, durable, attractive, and water-resistant.

The Filtair was awarded Design Patent #USD955544S1 and Utility Patent #US11491431B2 for its innovative design and unique purpose. The device is an air filter that attaches to the handlebars of your bike. It uses passive filtration to remove volatile organic compounds from the air, known to create smog and harm the respiratory and immune systems. A high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter is enclosed by an aluminum frame and mounted to the bike using a clamp and screw.
