Outside of school and professional activities, here are some of the things I love to spend my time doing.
Current Resume
Outside of work and other hobbies, I have recently began expanding on my interests and technical skills through working on a number of different coding projects in my spare time. These projects will be posted to my personal Github account as they are finalized.
My first major project was an extension of work I completed for my CMSC 14200 course at UChicago. It remade the logic and a GUI for the NYT Strands game, including command line parameters, game sound, and a DFS-driven board dictionary. Full instructions for the playable game can be found on my Github account.
My most recent project is focusing on addressing how fantasy basketball can be investigated as a MV optimization problem. The end goal is to generate and backtest historical and future "tangency portfolios" of NBA plays for NBA fantasy teams, since player data can be said to exhibit a lot of the same expected return, volatility, and correlation characteristics as market securities do.
During and outside of Origami Club meetings, I enjoy folding origami for myself, friends, and family. Most interesting to me is the endless creativity that this art style allows. I am currently a Vice President for the club and was formerly their Treasurer.

All my life, I've enjoyed everything about basketball. From playing on travel teams, going to NBA games, and even studying NBA statistics, the sport has always been my favorite. Below is a related YouTube channel that I frequent.

Outside of the above, I enjoy many other activities (chess, skiing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, etc.) and used to have two amazing dogs that I spent a great deal of time with.
