We are seeking a Community Growth Lead to drive the acquisition, management and retention of users, partners, and collaborators, utilizing multiple channels to serve these key stakeholders as we build our company from initial MVP all the way to a public utility that empowers hundreds of millions of users.

About Muse

Muse is a cross between a web page builder and a social media platform. For the first time in the history of the web, creating pages will be truly easy and fun for everyone, regardless of technical or design ability. The result will be an explosion of creativity and content.

Our founders have started 11 companies with 7 successful exits including 3 Fortune 500 acquisitions and a unicorn-scale IPO. (The remaining 4 companies are still growing.)

The Responsibilities

  • Spin up the flywheel for Muse.
  • Find, engage and onboard target users across employing known and innovative communication channels and tactics.
  • Engage and delight users and customers with communication, incentives and responsiveness.
  • Develop, grow and support ongoing relationships with influencers.
  • Build and manage deliverables in ongoing relationships with partner and collaborative platforms that serve and support the interests and needs of Muse users and customers.
  • Work with the rest of the Muse team to identify the product features that will empower, suprise and delight our users.
  • Work side-by-side with our CEO and growth team on all of these efforts.

The Job Requirements

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of innovatively buiding a user base from thosands to millions. You love engaging with new people and transforming them from strangers into devoted, loyal users. Listening, sharing and understanding people while showing them all of the advantages of a new life-changing technology are fun and satisfying for you. We look for teammates who are curious and kind, and who will challenge us at every turn — asking the tough questions and who are determined to find the great solutions.

  • A bright, kind and goal-oriented hustler and self-starter
  • 3+ years of hybrid business development and marketing experience
  • Experience managing budgets of at least $1 MM annually
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in direct marketing and social media
  • Takes initiative and proactively identifies opportunities and problems as well as solutions, and are always seeking ways to expand the community even with limited resources
  • An entrepreneurial thinker who isn’t afraid to push the envelope and take calculated risks in the name of driving big wins
  • Customer-obsessed: You care deeply about building the right experience for our users, and push your colleagues for the solutions that best serve the customer
  • Thorough and detail-oriented across all things you touch
