When you activate your membership, you are allowed to have 2 courses active at the same time. Although you're allowed 2 active courses at once, you can actually complete more than 2 courses each month. This is where your degree planning to fast track completing as many courses as you can within 1 month kicks in!

First, you would check your degree path at the school of your choice (a college that already recognizes and accepts ACE credits). Use the curriculum requirements as a guideline to see what you can take via Sophia Learning. Sophia Learning has a list of course equivalency for each partner schools to help you out as well.

Second, you want to take 1 course that has a touchstone and another that does not. Touchstones can take some time to be worked on, submitted, and wait for it to be graded. You can check the course syllabus to see if it has a touchstone or just the milestones and final exam. Keeping the 2nd course as a non-touchstone can keep you in a groove of moving on to the next course to be completed instead of being held up.
